Terms and Conditions
VEHICLE CONDITION
We provide the vehicle and all mandatory safety equipment in reliable condition. You must return the vehicle and any optional extras in the same condition as received. Inspect the vehicle carefully before driving.
You must present a valid driver's license, ID or passport, and a credit card (Visa or Mastercard), and be present upon pickup. Without these documents, the vehicle cannot be rented, and the renter will be charged without execution fees. Copies are not accepted. Check the vehicle before pickup to agree on its condition.
KEY POINTS
Fines and violations: All fines and administrative penalties resulting from the driver's fault are the full responsibility of the renter.
Insurance: (A copy of the insurance documents is available inside the vehicle and also emailed to the renter): All drivers listed in the contract are insured and exempt from damage to the rental vehicle caused by fire. Both coverages are subject to the general terms of the Company's agreement with its insurer.
Rental Period:
The rental period must be at least 3 days. The vehicle must be returned on the exact date and time agreed. Delayed returns are charged as an additional rental day.
Pricing Policy:
The prices listed on campervibes.gr are stated and charged in euros.
All prices include VAT.
The vehicle cannot be picked up without full payment and security deposit.
Rental Cost:
The daily rental cost and additional services are published on campervibes.gr, and may vary over time.
Payment:
Payment is made by depositing an amount equal to 50% of the reservation value into the following bank account: GR18 0172 2570 0052 5711 3486 898 held by our company at Piraeus Bank. Payment is made upon delivery of the vehicle to the renter either by bank deposit or by credit/debit card.
The renter must also pay the amount of the guarantee before receiving the vehicle.
Security Deposit:
For rentals in Greece, the security deposit will be held from the driver’s card upon pickup. Release may take up to 14 days depending on the issuing bank and provided no damage occurred.

International rental:
Insurance Coverage
All our vehicles are covered by comprehensive insurance.
Travel Abroad
- For international travel, additional comprehensive insurance is required at the renter’s expense (Please contact us for the exact cost, it varies depending on the destination).
- The policy includes 200 km per day; any extra kilometer is charged €0.30 per km.
- Roadside assistance is not included.
- Traveling to war zones or disaster areas is strictly prohibited.
Transport by Ferry:
Damage caused during boarding is not covered by insurance.
Roadside Assistance:
Covers technical or mechanical breakdowns due to material or manufacturing defects.
The renter may not perform repairs or modifications without the company’s approval. If immobilized due to breakdown or accident, roadside assistance is provided if repairs cannot be made on-site.
RENTAL AGREEMENT
The Owner rents, delivers, and grants the Renter the use of a specific motorhome, including its accessories, equipment, tools, keys, license plates, and all related documents under the terms of this agreement. The motorhome and its components will hereafter be referred to as the "Motorhome."
RENTAL DURATION
The rental period begins on the agreement’s signing date. At the end of this period, the Renter must return the Motorhome to the Owner’s office at the specified address. The minimum rental period is 3 full days.
OWNERSHIP
The Motorhome remains the exclusive property of the Owner throughout the rental period. The Renter acknowledges they have no rights other than those stated herein. It is prohibited for the Renter to sell, lease, or assign the Motorhome in any way. The Renter is not and cannot be considered a representative of the Owner.
USAGE TERMS
The Renter may drive the Motorhome only under the terms of this agreement. They must:
- Hold a B-class license for at least 3 years.
- Be between 23 and 70 years old.
In case of false statements, the Owner reserves all legal rights.
The Renter must maintain the vehicle, check the mechanical condition (oil, coolant, tire pressure, etc.), and act diligently to ensure proper function.
Prohibited uses include:
- Driving by unauthorized persons.
- Transporting persons or goods for a fee.
- Participation in races.
- Subleasing the vehicle.
- Carrying heavy, flammable, smelly, or illegal items.
- Leaving Greek territory without prior written consent.
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Violating any traffic or customs laws.
- Towing other vehicles.
Smoking and pets are prohibited unless specifically agreed upon. The Renter will cover any biological cleaning costs if these terms are violated.
Wild camping is prohibited. Overnight stays are recommended in designated camping areas. Fines for violations are solely the Renter's responsibility.
VEHICLE PICKUP & RETURN
The Motorhome is delivered in excellent condition. The Renter inspected and accepted it. Upon return, the fuel level must match the level at pickup, or the difference will be charged or deducted from the deposit.
Late return without notice allows the Owner to reclaim the vehicle through legal means. The Renter must pay for each day of delay and any loss incurred by the Owner (e.g., disrupted rentals). These costs may be deducted from the deposit.
Deliveries and vehicle pick-ups shall not be carried out on official public holidays. For the purposes of this Agreement, Official Public Holidays are defined as:
- March 25 (National Independence Day and the Annunciation)
- Clean Monday
- Good Friday
- Easter Monday
- Holy Spirit Day (Whit Monday)
- May 1 (Labour Day, designated as a mandatory public holiday by decision of the Minister of Labour)
- August 15 (Assumption of the Virgin Mary)
- October 28 (National Anniversary)
- December 25 (Christmas Day)
- December 26 (Second Day of Christmas)
- January 1 (New Year’s Day)
- January 6 (Epiphany)
If a delivery or pick-up date falls on any of the above-mentioned public holidays, it shall be rescheduled either to the previous working day or to the next available working day.
VEHICLE REPLACEMENT
If the vehicle breaks down or is in an accident, the Owner must provide a similar vehicle if available. If no replacement is possible (e.g., force majeure), the Renter may terminate the contract without further claims unless negligence by the Owner is proven. Minor issues fixable within 24 hours will not warrant replacement.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
24/7 roadside assistance is provided within Greece, in collaboration with an authorized provider.
VIOLATIONS & FINES
The Renter must show documents to police if requested. All fines (e.g., illegal parking, camping, speeding, DUI) must be reported to the Owner within 24 hours. The Renter must cooperate to relieve the Owner of any liability.
Failure to report fines may result in additional charges. If the Owner is billed, the Renter will be invoiced accordingly and must pay immediately.
If the vehicle is impounded, the Renter is liable for all losses. Additional claims (e.g., torts) by the Owner are not excluded.
RENTAL BREACH & TERMINATION
This agreement supersedes all prior agreements. If the Renter violates any terms or provides inaccurate information, the Owner may:
- Enforce the agreement and seek damages, or
- Terminate the agreement unilaterally.
The Owner may also terminate the contract if:
- The Renter files for bankruptcy.
- The vehicle is used illegally.
ACCIDENTS
In case of an accident, fire, theft, or loss, the Renter must:
- Notify the police.
- Gather names and contact details of witnesses and involved parties.
- Not admit any fault.
- Contact the Owner immediately.
- Collect and send evidence (e.g., photos).
- Fill out and sign a written accident report.
LOSS OR MALFUNCTION
If the vehicle is damaged or lost outside insurance coverage, the Renter must immediately pay for the full cost of repair (with genuine parts) or the current market value (in case of total loss), plus taxes and license costs.
Exceptions: theft or malfunction despite full compliance with this agreement and Greek law.
Lost keys must be reported immediately. The cost of replacement (based on the dealer's invoice) or locksmith services is borne entirely by the Renter.
INSURANCE COVERAGE
The vehicle is insured per the policy terms, which apply only if used in compliance with this agreement. Otherwise, the Renter is fully responsible for any damage.
Insurance coverage is provided by a licensed insurer. A copy is in the Motorhome and has been emailed to the Renter.
The Owner is the beneficiary of insurance, except in cases of death or disability, where the Renter is the beneficiary.
The Renter is responsible for all damages not covered by the policy and must pay the full cost above the security deposit.
VEHICLE CIRCULATION TAX & ROAD TOLL
The Owner is responsible for paying all vehicle circulation taxes and keeping the documents up to date. The renter is responsible for all toll charges arising from the selected route.
VEHICLE MAINTENANCE
The Owner must maintain and repair the Motorhome using authorized workshops and original parts. Routine maintenance follows the manufacturer's standards.
Tires are replaced by the Owner as needed, based on mileage.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Owner is only liable for willful misconduct or gross negligence. In all other cases (including minor negligence or force majeure), no liability is assumed.
RIGHT TO ASSIGN
The Owner may transfer this agreement to another person or entity. The Renter may not assign their rights or obligations.
NON-WAIVER
Failure or delay to enforce any rights does not constitute a waiver.
JURISDICTION
Greek law governs this agreement. The courts of Serres have exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes, except appeals to the Supreme Court.
All clauses are considered essential. This agreement replaces any prior agreements, written or oral. In case of disputes, both parties must first attempt mediation through a certified mediator from the Ministry of Justice registry.
